Prevention Link

Established in 1990, Prevention Link is one of Ontario’s only comprehensive programs that focuses on the link between the primary and secondary prevention of occupational injury, illness, and disease in workplaces. The program offers training, mentoring, outreach, and advisory services.

Occupational Disability Response Training (ODRT): provides extensive WSIB education for unionized and non-unionized workers, workplace representatives, and employers throughout Ontario.

The Return-to-Work branch (RTW): assists unions and employers in the development of effective evidence-based Return-to-Work programs and policies.

The Lighthouse Initiative branch (LI): provides reliable information on occupational health and safety, employment standards, human rights, and workers’ compensation. Free information guides in 21 languages are available for download on our website.

Each day, we aim to improve the well-being of Ontario workers, including injured workers, young workers, and those who are new to working in Ontario.
